The team of walking excavator ESH 15/90 No. 14 foreman Aurel Kostin on the coal mine of the North-East Amur Region for the second time became the best in the interregional production competition organized by Russian Coal among 60 brigades of various excavators of 6 coal mining enterprises in Siberia and the Far East.
According to the results of 2020, the miners of the Amur Region not only showed higher production results than their colleagues from the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia, working on excavators with a ladle capacity of 15 m ³ inclusive, but also observed labor and production discipline, industrial safety and labor protection requirements.
As a reward for the best production performance, the ESh 15/90 team No. 14 of the North-East section received a new domestic crossover car and cash prizes from the Russian Coal company.
The North-East section processes the reserves of the Raichikhinsky brown coal field and is located near the city of Raichikhinsky. The peculiarity of the coal mining enterprise is the non-transport development system used here. Mined coal is shipped from the face directly to gondola cars.
In 2020, miners of the North-East section exceeded the production plan for the extraction of energy coal by 106.6 percent.
Amur coal ensures the energy security of the Amur region. Blagoveshchenskaya CHPP and Raichikhinskaya TPP work at it. In the next 3 years, they will receive more than 8 million tons of solid fuel produced at the mines of the Amur Region. Also, Amur coal is shipped to the needs of the housing and communal services of the region.
Due to the fact that the production facilities are located near the generators, the supply of local brown coal has high economic efficiency for the region. The cost of Amur solid fuel is much lower than long-range coal, since the cost of its logistics is minimal.
