The JSC “Russian Coal” activities in the social area are constructed in accordance with the Federal Industry Agreement for the coal industry of the Russian Federation and by collective agreements. Guided by the principles of social responsibility and social partnership, the company aims to create the best conditions to improve the quality of life of its employees. The enterprises of JSC “Russian Coal” are regularly indexing wages and carrying out social support for workers and their families, as well as for pensioners of the company, providing health care, resort treatment and organizing summer holidays for children.
One of the most important aspects of social policy – training and skills development – is aimed to make people in the company grow from workers to managers, professionals, and specialists. Studies and trainings are accomplished on the basis of our own learning network and in the regional higher education institutions. Professional contests among key occupations are held every year in order to evolve knowledge of the best methods of work.
JSC «Russian Coal» contributes in the socio-economic development of the regions of presence. Every year we take part in the contest organized by the Russian Ministry of Energy aimed at coal delivery for social needs. Besides, the company has signed social and economic cooperation agreements with all the regions where it operates. They suppose coal delivery at lowest prices for housing and communal sector alongside with Company`s involvement in the life of the regions, support for people in need, conducting social and festive events.
