In 2020, the Russian Coal company increased the shipment of Krasnoyarsk coal by 11% – up to 1.24 million tons compared to 2019 (1.12 million tons). The company is mining coal of the “G” and “DG” marks on the Sayano-Partizansky section located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
In 2020, the volume of export shipments of Krasnoyarsk coal increased, the company explained. Due to the high calorie content (more than 6,000 kcal/kg), this type of fuel is in demand in the Asia-Pacific region, and is also exported to a number of countries in Europe. Sayano-Partizansky coal is shipped to the needs of large energy companies, industrial enterprises and the housing and communal services sector.
