In 2022, Russian Coal plans to increase coal production in the Krasnoyarsk Territory by 15%

In 2022, the Russian Coal company plans to increase the volume of production of high-calorie coal at the Sayano-Partizansky section located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory by 15% – from 1.3 to 1.5 million tons.

The Sayano-Partizansky section produces coal of the “G” and “DG” brands, which, due to its high caloric content (more than 6000 kcal / kg), is in active demand in the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. Fuel is shipped to the needs of large energy companies, industrial enterprises and the housing and communal services sector.

The volume of brown and coal-fired thermal coal production at the Russian Coal mines in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in 2021 amounted to about 5 million tons. In 2022, the company plans to continue implementing an investment program to upgrade and expand the fleet of equipment of coal mining enterprises.

Russian Coal produces thermal coal in an open-pit manner at coal mines located in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts. The company’s total coal reserves amount to 1.47 billion tons. The company’s products are supplied to the domestic market to consumers in 60 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as for export to 15 countries of the world.
