Russian Coal increases fuel supplies to BAM’s utility systems

The company “Russian Coal” increases the volume of supplies of coal grade “D” to the municipal systems of BAM. Fuel is needed to provide energy resources for construction work on the expansion of the Eastern landfill.

Russian Coal has been supplying fuel for the needs of BAM’s utility systems since 2019. Then the company shipped about 35 thousand tons of coal for the development of the railway infrastructure of the Eastern Landfill.

Russian Coal has started shipping fuel to BAM’s utility systems again since April 2022, supplying 3-4 thousand tons of coal monthly to provide energy resources for railway construction. In the future, the volume of monthly shipments will grow to 6 thousand tons of fuel. Thus, in 2022, the company will provide about 40% of the needs of BAM’s municipal systems in solid fuel, which is 20% higher than the volume of past deliveries.

In 2023, Russian Coal’s cooperation with BAM municipal systems will continue.

Now, in order to ensure the energy security of construction work on the expansion of the Eastern landfill and maintain the regulatory reserve, coal supplies are carried out year-round to more than 20 railway stations.

The fuel is used to produce electricity and heat energy necessary for the life of villages and stations where railway construction is underway and over 1,000 people work.
