In 2021, about 5 million tons of thermal coal were produced at the enterprises of Russian Coal in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. At the same time, more than 3.5 million tons of this volume fell on the Pereyaslavsky coal mine, which produces brown coal of the “2B” and “3B” brands. The products of the section are distinguished by one of the highest caloric content among brown coals of the mainland of the Russian Federation (up to 4,400 kcal/kg). The company currently has about 260 million tons of solid fuel in its reserves.

In 2022, Russian Coal plans to increase annual coal production at the Sayano–Partizansky section by 200 thousand tons – from 1.3 to 1.5 million tons of fuel. It produces coal of the “G” and “DG” brands, which, due to its high caloric content (more than 6000 kcal/ kg), is in active demand in the countries of the Asia-Pacific region.

Russian Russian Coal’s enterprises in the Amur Region, Krasnoyarsk Krai and Khakassia produced 14.7 million tons of hard and brown thermal coal in 2021, which is 200 thousand tons higher than the results of 2020. Russian Coal is producing thermal coal by open method at coal mines located in the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts. The company’s total coal reserves amount to 1.47 billion tons. The company’s products are supplied to the domestic market to consumers in 60 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as for export to 15 countries of the world.

In 2022, Russian Coal plans to increase investments in the development of production in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. New equipment will continue to arrive at the Pereyaslovsky and Sayano-Partizansky coal mines, which increases not only productivity, but also the safety of production processes.
