Russian Coal’s fuel production in the Krasnoyarsk Territory increased by 15% in 6 months of 2022%

Russian Coal’s fuel production at the Pereyaslovsky mine, an asset of the Russian Coal company in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, increased by 15% compared to the same period in 2021 – from 1.3 to 1.5 million tons.

The company produces brown energy coal for the needs of generating companies – CHP and GRES, housing and communal services, as well as state consumers. In 2022, the 100 millionth ton of coal is planned to be shipped to consumers at the Pereyaslovsky mine since the company was founded.

Russian Coal produced about 600 thousand tons of solid fuel in the 1st half of 2022 at another enterprise of the Russian Coal company in the Krasnoyarsk Territory – the Sayano-Partizansky section. It produces high-calorie hard coal, which is in demand not only in Russia, but also abroad. The caloric content of fuel reaches 6500 calories per kilogram.

Gas coal is one of the universal brands of solid fuel. It belongs to the energy, but it can also be used to get coke. The main export product of the Sayano-Partizansky mine is GOMSSH coal. Thanks to the new crushing plant, in 2021 the output of this high-quality coal grade at the Sayano-Partizansky section increased. The company plans to further increase production capacity.

In total, over 2.1 million tons of fuel were produced at the Russian Coal mines in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in the first half of 2022. The company is a major employer in the region: about 1,000 residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory are employed at its enterprises.
