Since the beginning of 2021, coal production has increased by 5% at Russian Coal enterprises in Khakassia

For 9 months of 2021, about 5 million tons of “D” grade coal were produced at the enterprises of “Russian Coal” in Khakassia – the Steppe and Kirbinsky sections. This is 140 thousand tons higher than planned and 5% more than production volumes for the same period last year, the company explained.

In the Stepnaya section, working off the reserves of the Chernogorsky coal deposit, 3.37 million tons of fuel were produced in January – September 2021, which is 80 thousand tons ahead of planned indicators. 3.3 million tons of coal have been processed at the processing plant of the mine since the beginning of the year.

Coal production at the Kirbinsky section, working off the reserves of the Bayskoye field, increased by 16% in 9 months of 2021 compared to the same period in 2020 and amounted to 1.62 million tons.

Khakass coal is shipped for the needs of large-scale energy, ensuring the energy security of the territories of the Far North, under state and social contracts, as well as for export.

With the development of production, the company’s tax deductions to the budget of Khakassia also increased. For 8 months of 2021, the enterprises of Russian Coal paid 356.2 million rubles of tax deductions to the budget of the Republic, which is significantly higher than last year.
